JHU COVID Data: 1,823 U.S. Deaths from COVID today, 9/15/21. Translation: 1 American dies of COVID every less than 60 seconds from a preventable disease.

America is very much at War with Death and Disease with no Peak in sight, and it’s in every community in America.

Rural, Urban, Remote, COVID Death has all reached them. No place to run or hide unless we live in Space.

Americans are dying because no hospital will take them- Vox News, 9/14/21

We call 911. No available ambulance. We head to the Emergency Room, there is a long line outside it’s doors with wait time of unknown hours. We got an Emergency Room Bed but need to wait 24 to 100 hours for an I.C.U. or Medical-Surgical Bed. Why? Because all the Hospital Beds are already taken by COVID Patients who generally occupies the bed for 1-4 weeks.

We think we will get an I.C.U. bed because we have a life threatening Hemorrhagic Pancreatitis, Heart Attack, Stroke, Sepsis, Renal Failure and Respiratory Distress from COVID. That thinking is gone when Hospitals are overwhelmed above capacity and understaffed. We could be Intubated hooked to a Ventilator Machine and still wait in the Emergency room for indefinite hours. We could die in Emergency Room and still no I.C.U. Bed available.

When everyone is Emergency, everyone becomes Non-Emergency. Meaning, everyone needs to wait. Emergency Triage is activated. Rationed care implemented. People with small chance of survival will be left alone to die. Neglect and Critical Care Delay becomes Normal and Acceptable in Emergency Disaster Situations. Many will be saved but some will die. We may die. Our Family and Friends may die. No exemption during a Statewide Outbreak.

In a Crisis situation, Health Care Systems are Free to do what is necessary just like People are Free to do what they want. It’s called Freedom, something that is loudly and violently “emphasized,” for the last 19 months.

Estimated time from 911 call to body bag for severe, terminal COVID averages 2-4 days with the Delta Variant. This means, we have less that 48 hours to do our last wishes and say our goodbyes.

I don’t want to be the one that ruins someone’s dreamy fantasy bubble, but if that saves one life, then this post is worth the time.

It’s never a waste when the intention and outcome are good. It’s never a waste when it’s about real people in real danger.

At a certain point, it was no longer a matter of if the United States would reach the gruesome milestone of 1 in 500 people dying of covid-19, but a matter of when. A year? Maybe 15 months? The answer: 19 months.– The Washington Post, 9/15/21

We are living a nightmare that is preventable but we made our choices. Everyone can land in a body bag because of COVID. The longer the surges, the closer the chances. For now, the Death Roulette is spinning, but it stops every less than 60 seconds to claim another American. Who’s next?

It is a very scary and tragic loss and reality. But many seems to have move on like those loses never happened. For some, loss has to be up close and personal to become real, though few have died denying they have covid. It’s almost endemic now in California, which means infection is more stable and no crazy roller coaster surges. Post Thanksgiving and Winter will confirm which States will have another year of seasonal surges and which won’t. The hope, pandemic ends to controllable level for all like Flu, though People still die of Flu every year. No one deserves the loss and suffering this virus has created.

My point is that 1% of Americans die every single year. When you consider that early treatment with repurposed antivirals has shown 80% reduction in hospitalization, the 700k deaths is really a shame. So many people might have had more years.
I’ve done a lot of reading of papers about vitamin D and its impact on the immune system. I now think that the level for calcidiol deficiency should be below 40 ng/ml, which means that doctors should treat any level below that.

Definitely our immunity and co-morbidity factors like having Diabetes plays a role in terms of how severe the disease may become. Obesity is another. Age is no longer a factor though elderlies still are susceptible . Yes, more than 750,000 dead Americans is a shame and tragedy. People are still dying from covid but not enough to be news worthy. To me, A life is still a life and should be worthy of news coverage. Take care.

Vaccines wane. Antivirals do not.

All vaccines wanes with time, but they do work. Antivirals, like antibiotics only works during an actual infection. It’s not for prevention. Also , virus and bacteria developed multi resistant strains in time when used inappropriately. It’s one of the biggest , worrisome problem in hospitals and clinics. It’s also contagious like multi resistant skin Staphylococcus infections. Cure works while the organism is vulnerable, then like all organisms, the develop defense mechanisms that evades cure.

That is a sobering statistic and a stark reminder that we’re not out of the clear yet. What’s even more sad is that so many of these deaths are preventable if only people get vaccinated.

I know. Even just 1,000 a day dead for 30 days is 30,000 real people never again being able to make beautiful memories and moments with those they love. People will die without seeing it coming. To be given only days to say goodbye, should scare everyone. Personally, I don’t want to die yet, so I’m doing my best to survive. Take care.

My heart goes out to every family that mourn the loss of a loved one due to the pandemic crisis. We have to remember that behind the daily figures we see on the Tv and hear on the radio are vibrant characters and the families and friends left behind, grieving in the strangest of circumstances. All the very best for the day. May luck be with your sides always and forever. I wish you have a great day ahead 🙂 Aiva

5 kids were orphaned when both young parents died from covid. This should NOT be happening. No one deserves the evils, loss and suffering covid brings. We can only try and help each other because the road to beating covid is so long and vast by now. Everyone in the World can’t escape it. Take care. Stay safe.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the leading cause of death globally. 17.9 million people died from CVDs in 2019, representing 32% of all global deaths. Considering there are 31,557,600 seconds in a year that means one human being dies in LESS THAN 1 second everyday (0.567 sec) from a cardiovascular disease.
Most cardiovascular diseases can be prevented by addressing behavioral risk factors such as tobacco use, unhealthy diet and obesity, physical inactivity and harmful use of alcohol. But you keep blogging about greasy, fat-laden burgers and never once have I read anything you have written about obesity. I know, I know…you are a Democrat and you have been duped into believing that discussing obesity is fat shaming.
Hunger continues to be the world’s biggest health problem. Undernourishment leads to a compromised immune system and makes a person vulnerable to bacterial and viral pathogens. Famine and hunger killed more people in 2020 than the current viral outbreak, according a study released by the anti-poverty organization Oxfam. The report found that eleven people die EACH MINUTE from famine and hunger related crises, which is FOUR MORE than amount who die from the coronavirus in the same interval of time. According to the report, there has been a six-fold increase in people living in famine-like conditions since the pandemic began in 2020. So how many of those fat burgers have you sent to Somalia?
The report also attributed the increase in hunger related deaths to the economic downturn suffered by many parts of the world. And your Governor Nuisance, along with other Democrat Governors and Mayors want to continue with lockdowns? Name me one scientific study that shows lockdowns are effective in preventing the spread of ANY viral pathogen. But there are many studies that show the devastating effects of unemployment: increased spousal abuse, incest, rape, murder, breaking and entering, homelessness, unwanted pregnancies, increased abortions, etc, etc, etc.
Since the Chinese Communist Party virus began in 2019, vulnerable communities around the world have been sending a clear, urgent and repeated message: ‘Hunger will kill us before coronavirus.’ Today, deaths from hunger are outpacing the virus.
The 1918 influenza pandemic was the most severe pandemic in recent history. It was caused by an H1N1 virus with genes of avian origin. It spread worldwide during 1918-1919. But with no vaccine to protect against influenza infection and no antibiotics to treat secondary bacterial infections the virus subsided via natural immunity. The number of deaths was estimated to be at least 50 million worldwide. Mortality was high in people younger than 5 years old. Isn’t that interesting. Growing up, it was also generally younger persons who seasonally contracted flu viruses. But SARS 2 specifically targets older persons. Why? Because Socialists/Marxists/Communists believe aged persons are nonproductive and of no use to the collective. China, with 1.5 BILLION hungry mouths to feed, needed a way to cull those who they view as burden to society. Gain of function science provide the technology to manufacture a virus that kills off their older population.

Tragic to learn that even developed countries are struggling to keep their citizens alive amidst this disaster. My thoughts go out to the impoverished, underdeveloped nations in Africa and elsewhere, where the virus would claim more and more lives due to poor healthcare facilities and vaccine distribution.
I personally lost 2 dear relatives to complications of covid, before even the vaccines were open to public.
Now, however, it IS preventable and very much still rests in the choices we make.
Our world is headed towards doom. This is frightening and unsettling. Thanks for spreading this information!

Just last Spring, America was so focused on outside countries having the major surge for the first time. I already knew, we are next again because many people’s behavior and attitude is pre-pandemic. We allowed Delta to mutate as powerful as it is because many refused the vaccine and still refusing. We chose to doom ourselves. And those who did get the vaccine will become victims of the disease if not this year, the next several years thereafter. It’s now Endemic in the U.S., which translates to forever covid. I guess we love covid so much it’s became a lifestyle choice. Irony helps instead of being angry and frustrated. TC. Thanks .

I read another article this week, this time from Texas, about a mother who was an anti-vaxxer and her 4-year-old died within a day after showing symptoms after catching Covid from the mom. She instantly regretted not getting vaccinated.
It is heartbreaking and it makes me sad that it takes a personal devastating loss for it to impact and matter to individuals.
So so preventable indeed.

Even vaccinated people can get infected by the highly contagious DELTA variant. They may not get seriously sick themselves if they are vaccinated. but they cannot prevent becoming a spreader of the virus! It is very sad, when children become seriously sick with the virus. So far it looks though that thankfully most children seem to become only mildly sick or not sick at all when coming into contact with the virus. Should children be vaccinated? A lot of experts say now, from age 12 on children should be vaccinated too.

True. We just have to try living safely and save as much people as we can. It’s already full blown. We all missed the window of opportunity to end it last year. Take care.

It is heartbreaking. There was a pregnant women who died during the delivery of a premature baby because she got covid and refused vaccination. For some, it’s too late because death with covid is quick. It used to be 1 week, now within 72 hours once we decide to go to the E.R. Next year, a new more powerful variant will emerge. Our Experts are already giving us hints of what to expect next year.

The instant regret is always heartbreaking and the grief lasts forever. If only more people will hear the message before it’s too late!
The Mu variant seems to be the scary thing now and it’ll be scary to think how this pandemic will continue to evolve.

It will take around 6 months for significant strains to dominate or be overshadowed by the most powerful of covid’s mutations. Spring 2022, it’s either Mu or the next generation Delta mutations. Honestly, I really think it’s a bioengineered virus just from observing how it keeps evading and surviving more powerful than it’s earlier parent virus. People should be concerned because this is the Real World now, Covid as part of the everyday and the ordinary. It is free to do whatever it wants because like humans, it thrives on freedom and recklessness. It’s nourishments are arrogance, selfishness and ignorance. Thanks Ab. I appreciate the inspiring feedback always.

The sad reality is that we do have to learn to live with Covid and that means doing our part to be vaccinated and wear masks. It’s the non believers and conspiracy theorists that help prolong this pandemic and give the virus an opportunity to mutate. So so frustrating!

True. The answer to the Pandemic is so clear, Scientifically clear, but the heart of many is not really in ending the Pandemic. America already surpassed the Spanish Flu deaths in less than 2 years. And it’s not a surprise why as well. We have the tools to decrease the deaths and hospitalizations but many are embracing the Pro COVID thinking and lifestyle. Crazy!!! Thanks for the feedback.

On the bright side, we’re seeing reports that vaccines for children under 12 may be approved soon. That should help with this fight. Let’s hope it is implemented soon!

Yes, that news is really life saving and will give parents a sense of relief. The only problem is anti vaccines believers will deprive their children of a miracle of Science. I think not protecting one’s vulnerable child with vaccine can be a form of neglect same as not bringing them to school or not feeding them properly. Actions of adults will have consequences, Thank God there are already Laws in place that ensures children will be protected and advocated.

There are more mutations now the World over, and since many are traveling, they will spread fast and wide. The U.S. should have several mutations of the Delta Variant. We are not just being told because we need to vaccinate as much. There is no more herd immunity, that was for last year when the mutations wasn’t much.

Preventable meaning getting the vaccine can prevent most serious side effects of Covid and reduce the hospitalizations

Mass vaccinations were introduced in US long before Australian citizens did get a chance to be vaccinated. The fact is, even fully vaccinated people are not totally immune for instance to the DELTA variant. Sure, most people do get only a mild infection when they have been fully vaccinated and when they take care to get a booster jab after about six months. However, the DELTA variant is just one variant of other variants that are highly infectious. Even with frequent vaccinations not everyone can survive a serious virus outbreak. Health care workers are especially at risk. Not everybody that needs hospital care can be admitted to hospital when needed. The hospitals are overloaded. This is what The Washington Post says:
“At a certain point, it was no longer a matter of if the United States would reach the gruesome milestone of 1 in 500 people dying of covid-19, but a matter of when. A year? Maybe 15 months? The answer: 19 months.– The Washington Post, 9/15/21”
Everyone is vulnerable, even all the vaccinated people! So far Australia has not had very many covid-19 deaths. But recently we’ve had a few serious outbreaks, and the death numbers are already starting to go up.

I’m very saddened of what’s going on with the U.S. and the World. COVID will impact all of us. This is the new normal many keep denying themselves. Truth will keep us safer, though no guarantee. Realizing this is it, we try to live life as full as we can with safety caution in mind. We travel local, and if international , we use all ways to prevent getting a different variant that may evade the vaccine.

True. SF and the Bay Area Healthcare Systems get to breathe and rest this Summer because of the vaccines. A contrast to States with the lowest vaccination. We now have a miracle creation of Science that could save people and makes everyone’s lives better but people keep choosing lies. At this point, I think experiencing covid up close and personal may be the only way for others to see the truth. And that is heartbreaking. Thanks.

I kind of agree. America wants to keep people that there is light at the end of tunnel, that we may go back to the was. It is now endemic, which means covid and its more contagious, lethal variants will be a normal part of the American Dream or is it nightmare. Just as infectious people turning cold and angry. There are 2 wars in America, covid and people. It’s everywhere. No mask or vaccine can stop a person from harming another. It’s terrifying. Stay safe my friend. People who are cautious will live longer. My son calls it, “Population Control.”

Thanks . It is and will get sadder as we hit Winter. Yes, people are free to choose not to get vaccinated but it still is a sad event when they die and everyone else that died and will die because of rationed life saving medical care. The next 4 months will be dark if not darker then last Winter COVID death. This time , children will die too because of Adult’s actions. Gives me goosebumps just writing this . Horrifying trajectory.

I can’t understand why many of America is okay with the thousands of daily and weekly death. Indeed many are numb, many don’t feel anymore other people’s loss and heartbreaks. It’s 18 months only of the pandemic that is now endemic. What will be become in 4 years? People don’t realize they are bringing the apocalypse among themselves and their children. So, I tell my family to try to enjoy the now and soon. If we internalize the signs, it should scare us all. Thanks.
