Fall 2021 begins September 22. Should I wait to experience its magic?

Should I wait to see it’s beautiful colors of orange, yellows, reds, greens and purple?

Should I wait to smell its fragrance of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and of course …pumpkins?

Should I wait to taste its delicious food and beverages like Pumpkin Pie and Pumpkin Spice Latte?

Should I wait to experience the unique blend of Happiness that it brings?

No, Nah, Nada, Nevah…on waiting!

So, at 5:45 A.M., I turned on our Fall Tree lights because I want to, I need to, I love to. Early Bird gets to catch the first batch of magic.
No one should wait for their magic to happen. With what is going on in our homes, community, country and the World, we need all the magic we can get…now!

18 months of the Pandemic taught me to live in the now and make my dreams happen with a sense of urgency.
“We’ve lived several months of Emergency Disaster. Some places still do. Knowing another Emergency is just around the corner, waiting for what matters and what’s important shouldn’t have to wait. Should be just as emergent.”

I should have done them sooner and more, but I’m grateful because God gave me plenty of chances to bring to life many of what my heart has always wanted.

I choose to celebrate Life bigger, sooner, longer, deeper, more spontaneous because I don’t know what happens to me and those I love next week, next month, next year.

This is my truth. Don’t care if it’s weird. Don’t care if it it doesn’t follow the norms. At the end of a dream, who felt happier, won. Who missed it, lost. And I’m tired of losing. I needed more wins.
Life has never been more urgent. No more waiting for good things to simply happen.

“I almost ran out of flicker to my flame. Then God showed me how dark, sad and cold it already is. My fire is taking baby steps. I’m not as young, patient, tolerant and forgiving as I used to be. I needed more time to heal. The wounds, too scarred, too deep. I needed more time to forgive and be braver on happiness. The hope, that my flame will burn brighter to light every corner and every room in my mind, heart and soul.”

The fall is my favourite time of the year. It seems like it’s only here for a second before winter comes. The leaves have started to change and the days are getting longer. It definitely is starting to feel like fall.

Thank you. Even awhile back in Texas when my son was small , Fall is one of our favorite seasons. We would go to pumpkin patches and farms, and family activities that makes the season more meaningful to us. It’s a great way to collect happy memories. And happiness we always need and want.

I remember reading your post last autumn when you had set up your autumn tree. Has it already been one year our last autumn? I find this year has flown by so so quickly.
Good for you for getting up and setting up your autumn tree. The colours are vibrant and bring a lot of joy! That is the one thing I love about fall, nature gives you one last burst of fire and beauty before the winter.
I hope these fiery colours sustain you through the next few weeks and months. Blink and before you know it, it will be Spring and summer roadtrip season again. 😊👍
PS. Thank you for the link. I am very touched by the gesture.
Have a great week and hope it flies by to the weekend again.

Thanks. Celebrating the Seasons helped me deal with the Stress and sadness of life and events. It’s part of my adventure escape, and it works. I think it’s really important to try making each month memorable because not only are they eager to fly us by, but also we can’t predict what happens between now and next year .

I think the changing seasons, aside from letting us know about the passage of time, gives us all something to look forward to. And hope and anticipation are key to getting through these pandemic days and all the stress that comes with it.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

What a beautiful post, and allowing yourself to enjoy it when it feels good for you, perfect. That is what life is all about, no norms, no following protocol just being inspired and then following that inspiration, it feels so good. I love seeing all of the images with beautiful colors and your thoughts about the season change, because for me Autumn is my favorite season and a time for change, something I’ve always gravitated towards. Happy Fall!

Happy Fall. I always believe that when we want the magic and happiness of the seasons, we don’t wait. We make it happen. It can be anytime, anyhow our heart wants to celebrate them. We are the boss to our own magic. I think creating ways to bring to life with excitement and awe Seasons helps in anyone’s well being. So much negativity around us, we need a change of scenery and ambiance. We need all the magic we could get. Thanks.

It will be a lot of fun. It’s nice to look forward of a season that has many joyful possibilities. Stores are actually enticing people to make Fall as festive as it can be. With all the bad news, we need to create something beautiful and good in our home and hearts. Thanks.

Covid brought so much sadness. The pandemic kind of took so much of the joy and excitement around me. And the stress, hmm crazy much since the first lockdown. Celebrating the season early for me and my family is having to look forward something positive, joyful, beautiful. It’s finding inspiration in life. Been listening to my Holiday playlist as well in my car. Somehow , my mood is better. Thanks.

Indulge on what inspires you I couldn’t have sad it better! Autumn is a beautiful time of year. Yes, it’s always sad that summer is over, but that doesn’t mean Fall isn’t worthy of the same affection. The leaves change from green to an incredible display of vibrant colors, just as your cheeks get a little ruddy from the colder weather. To me, Fall is a time of preparation for rebirth. Bears fatten up for the long winter hibernation, squirrels stockpile acorns, and trees shed their leaves to make themselves heartier for the coming cold.

Your words made me long more of Fall. I can’t wait for the Pumpkins and Fall Foliage. It’s still kind of Summer here in California. Perhaps in October, more of Fall’s magic will be more visible. Thank you.
