Sand, Surf and BBQ Sandwich

Life is too short not to go where the heart is most happy and free.

We define our own paradise. Never let this world or people take that from you.

So, today we are taking a short roadtrip to the beach for some sand, surf and Vietnamese Pork BBQ sandwich.

Finding time for yourself and your family has never been more critical. Leave work at work, hide our phones, turn off the T.V. and let go of all the negative stress.

To feel alive matters. Our joy and adventure matters.

This is the kind of California we always hope to remember.

Blessed day full of sun-kissed blessings to all my fellow bloggers and dreamers out there. We can create a better world just the way we want it.

  2. To feel alive, and grateful, matters so much. What a great reminder from you. Thank you. 🙂

Where is this beach in California by the way? We stopped by a few during our road trip from San Diego to Tahoe.

  3. So true. One has to make those moments happen and appreciate them. I loved the sound on this. My usual backdrop noise is traffic so the sound of the sea was a welcome distraction.I’ve managed one day at the seashore this year. However, being British means I’m happy that the weather allowed that! Wellies is usual attire for a day out with the family here. It’s all good fun.

  6. Love the beach! It’s always my reset. No matter what is going on in my life, it’s always washed clean with the rolling waves on shore. The beach is a very magical place to be. Thank you for sharing this lovely post!!

    • I grew close to the ocean , & somehow , I feel free and at home being close to it, doesn’t matter where in the World. With today’s heartbreaks & sadness with the pandemic & it’s effects, it’s good to be close to something that help us heal & find a bit of joy. Thanks for the comment.

But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will be as one”. John Lennon

I don’t agree with a lot of things that John Lennon said, but he was right about giving peace a chance. We need more love these days and less dogma. Blessings.
