The announcement of Democrat’s Presidential hopeful Joe Biden of his running mate made so many smile with excitement Tuesday. Kamala Harris, the first Woman of Color for Vice President brought joy to many, something America has been missing since COVID-19 and Racism events took over most of 2020. Her name brought hope. Her name is possibly destined to unite a divided America. Her name is an answered prayer for many of us wanting, pleading, dying for change.

So, if anyone had enough of the suffering, fear, anger, Racism, injustice, pain, loss, sickness and death, please register and vote this coming November. Be counted. Be heard. Be a part of history that will make America not just great again but a country that truly embrace democracy, humanity, kindness, generosity and mercy. We need to bring back everything that brings us pride, honor, justice and dignity. We need to heal and restore America. We need to resurrect and revive the dreams, freedom, opportunity and pursuit for happiness for all. We need to show our children we can be better. We need to show our children they can have a future to look forward to.

Many negative, even demeaning opinions, stories and news will be made to change people’s votes this coming election. When tempted, confused or in doubt, we go back and remember how it made us feel when we heard the announcement, “Kamala Harris, the first Black Woman and Asian American Woman for Vice President.” We go back to the pain of the past and history so it doesn’t happen and repeat again.

“The choice we make this November is going to decide the future of America for a very, very long time,” Biden said Wednesday. He is correct. Whether we head for disaster or be saved, it’s because of a choice we will be making and not anyone else.
Don’t let the lies, games and deception of Politics stop the Humanity screaming in our hearts. Don’t let the opinion of others drown our first instinct, and what our gut is telling.

I know I want change so my choice is clear and it has nothing to do if I’m a Republican or Democrat. I’m choosing the good of both and choosing who represents the most of that goodness. I’m choosing hope. I’m choosing humanity. I’m choosing the kind of America I want live in for a very, very long time.

Don’t know too much about her, but I think that it is an important step in the representation of women and people of colour in politics. And I have the feeling that she will bring more energy into the campaign.

Allow me to help you know more about Harris.
It is public knowledge that Kamala Harris slept her way up into California political life by being a very public escort and mattress for California Democrat Kingmaker Willie Brown. Willie Brown is 30 years older than Harris and was very married at the time. It was public. It was an embarrassment.
Brown gave her a BMW and appointed her to two political posts that netted her over $400,000. That makes her more successful than the highest paid prostitutes at Nevada’s Bunny Ranch.
So what does Harris represents to hard-working women across the country who devote years to their careers to rise to higher positions of importance?
Kamala Harris’s story denigrates women who worked hard all their lives, faced cruel gender stereotypes, heard and ignored snickers, encountered and overcame real true misogyny; yet, ultimately achieved great accomplishments. Kamala Harris instead is a poster child for those extremely few women who despicably chose to take the short-cut up the ladder through frisky behavior with married men 30 years their senior. That play and strategy did not work out well for Monica Lewinsky, whose name forever will be associated with vice. Our society’s rejection and mockery of Lewinsky to this day, a quarter century later, is the vice precedent that should define Kamala Harris. Vice precedent, Kamala Harris.

Well, one thing for sure…she is a professional politician. We need another lawyer in Washington, DC like we need another pandemic. Hope? Change? Harris has no problem with change. During the primary debates she pointed to Biden’s long standing political history of prejudice towards persons of color (you can easily find his voting record online), but now…presto…she is suddenly on board with Biden? Wake up people! Stop electing professional politicians. We need engineers, scientists, doctors, nurses, medical technicians, economists, educators and successful business persons running our nation. The two greatest presidents in my lifetime were both Democrats, before they saw the light and switched to a conservative ideology. Even myself, I voted for Carter and Clinton (only once) and then I saw the light too. In the final analysis, it really isn’t about party politics, it is about ability. Biden has accomplished nothing in his 50 years as a professional politician. Obama never trusted him…he just needed him…just as Biden now needs Harris. It is political move. Privately, Biden’s remarks frustrated Obama. “How many times is Biden gonna say something stupid?” he asked. Obama campaign staffers referred to Biden blunders as “Joe bombs” so they kept Biden uninformed about strategy discussions. Not much has changed with Joe now being hold up in his basement and campaign staffers keeping him away for the TV cameras and microphones. This election is not about Harris, it is about Biden’s failed policies and lack of leadership.

#45 says he is the Law and Order President. I see Kamala and Joe as Law and Order. I can not vote. Please everyone south of the 49th get out and vote wisely. Check all the politician’s statements and make an educated, informed choice. Good luck. We are all hoping for you.

Told my co-workers to register and vote. Told them to do More doing , less complaining. Change doesn’t happen by simply wishing it. It takes effort and action. Thanks for the feedback. It’s been a rough year for most, & if this has to get better, or worse, it’s up for all to really take both humanity and politics seriously.

I believe we need more women in leadership positions—period. Hillary Clinton would have never separated undocumented children from their parents at the border. I believe Kamala Harris will look out for the most vulnerable in our society.

I was hoping for Hillary Clinton too, but many refuse to see the future & instead listened to the lies and got blinded by empty promises. Just because someone is a billionaire doesn’t mean we all will get rich if we vote for a billionaire businessman. We all were born, raised and nurtured by an amazing Woman we called Mom, so how come we never gave Women a chance to lead this country? We need to end Sexism, Racism, Discrimination, Injustice. It’s 2020, & it’s a year of Change & Choices. Thanks David.
