Hiking Happiness At Montara

Whether by the beach or overlooking from its mountains, Montara is our happy place.

So, today I hope to give you the same happiness it gave me by taking you there on a hike. Happiness means more when we work for it. Besides, we need all the exercise we can get. When you’re ready for the adventure , just press the on arrow below.

We have a choice to see what’s good and beautiful in the midst of chaos and seemingly never ending bad news. We have a choice to keep living the dreams that keeps us excited and motivated to wake up and conquer another day.

Everyday is a gift we need to appreciate and be grateful because not everyone is lucky to have today.

    Goodness! It looks like the same Montara that I remember, but with more friends! When I roamed the area, the trails had not yet been developed. No one else was out there. There certainly were not so many cars parked there, although I believe that parking lot had already been cleared. The tunnels were something that was planned for the future.

    Awesome & truly happiness feel ! Love hiking especially in temperate weather. In Asia tropics, we need to start our hike at dawn to avoid the heat 🙂

    It’s easy to see why Montara is your happy place. With mountains on one and the Pacific on the other side, the scenery in Montara is on a grand-scale! I would love to visit California one day, you guys have stunning beaches and amazing coastal hikes too. Devil’s Slide trail is definitely on my wish list!       Thanks Aiva. We’d been visiting it since 2015 since we discovered Montara State Beach by accident . It’s beautiful during Spring to early Summer when carpets of pink and yellow wildflowers covers it’s green mountains in contrast to the ocean blues. We love the texture of its golden white sand when it touches our feet. It’s different from the beaches close to it along Cabrillo HWY. hope you get to see it soon. Happy Summer.

    I love the sounds of laughter near the end of the video. You can’t fake that kind of joy! God’s creation (nature) has healing properties–especially when we acknowledge the intelligent designer behind it.
