For 8 minutes and 46 seconds at 11:00 A.M. today, we offer a moment of silence and prayer for George Floyd as his funeral starts in Houston, Texas.

We will never forget his last words, “I Can’t Breathe.”

My family's unwavering belief in me makes me feel that I can do anything, be anything. This blog is about the people that made a difference in my life and the many journeys we made together. Because of them,I get to dream again...and those dreams, they remind me each day that life is a gift and a blessing. A blessing that is full of goodness, joy and hope.
Such a sad situation. Wish things were better. It happens here in the UK too.

Racism is a deep rooted virus that simply resurfaced as people went on lockdown. It is curable however but it begins with acceptance and willingness to change. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks. Silence gives us a moment to reflect of what we need to do to honor the lives lost because of Racial Hate and Injustice. It’s still happening despite of the massive rallies.

An horrific tragedy at the hands of a police state ruled by a white supremacist dictator. Thank you for this beautiful tribute to a wonderful human being! Blessings.

Sadly, yes- like a creeping, ugly shadow… much as a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

The whole world is feeling with George Floyd and his tragic fate (except some who never will be able to show any compassion). It’s time to change the world – and in particular stop all kinds of racism, whether in the States or anywhere else.

So true. It’s not a moment but a movement that people will passionately fight for till real change happens . Thanks.

Next to the Mural was a message. Building facade was boarded as a result of some damage. For us this is just temporary. We are breathing George Floyd is not. Please join us in keeping the focus where it should be: Working Towards Change Aimed at Ensuring Equality, Justice and Safety for All Black People in this Country. There will be distractions. There will be people that will try to discredit the movement against Racism and Injustice but for as long as we’re breathing, we will be reminded of the change that is needed to be done. Thanks for the feedback.

Can’t click “like” on this. It makes me so sad. But, I did acknowledge the time of silence – – – and said a few prayers for George Floyd’s family and loved ones.
