A Moment Of Silence

For 8 minutes and 46 seconds at 11:00 A.M. today, we offer a moment of silence and prayer for George Floyd as his funeral starts in Houston, Texas.

We will never forget his last words, “I Can’t Breathe.”

  1. Such a sad situation. Wish things were better. It happens here in the UK too.

    • Racism is a deep rooted virus that simply resurfaced as people went on lockdown. It is curable however but it begins with acceptance and willingness to change. Thanks for the feedback.

  4. The whole world is feeling with George Floyd and his tragic fate (except some who never will be able to show any compassion). It’s time to change the world – and in particular stop all kinds of racism, whether in the States or anywhere else.

    • Next to the Mural was a message. Building facade was boarded as a result of some damage. For us this is just temporary. We are breathing George Floyd is not. Please join us in keeping the focus where it should be: Working Towards Change Aimed at Ensuring Equality, Justice and Safety for All Black People in this Country. There will be distractions. There will be people that will try to discredit the movement against Racism and Injustice but for as long as we’re breathing, we will be reminded of the change that is needed to be done. Thanks for the feedback.

Can’t click “like” on this. It makes me so sad. But, I did acknowledge the time of silence – – – and said a few prayers for George Floyd’s family and loved ones.
